Faith Formation
Faith Formation begins at Baptism and continues throughout adult life. The most effective forms of “formation” occur in the home and in community models of faith formation. In its most recent document, Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us, the U.S. Catholic Bishops state that adult faith formation must be the central task in the catechetical enterprise, becoming the “axis around which revolves the catechesis of childhood and adolescence as well as that of old age.”
