For several years now, St. Angela has focused on Family Faith Formation recognizing the primary role of the family in a child?s faith development. We did this primarily through the Generations of Faith program for the past four years. These events have been very well received and a refreshing way to experience “parish”. Reflecting on this experience and in consultation with many of our parish families, we realize that there is much more we can do to support families as we grow together in faith. THERE-FORE...this year in addition to our Generations of Faith Events, we are offering a series of Saturdays (approximately once a month) for families with children of school age (K to teens). The core of this program will be “What the Catholic Church Believes and Teaches,” supplementing our GOF program (Generation of Faith Plus) Children will learn about their faith heritage, prayers, saints, Gospels and have an opportunity to participate more fully in the Mass. There will also be the regular sessions for those preparing for the Sacra-ments. A schedule of all meetings is listed in the library and parish vestibule.
